What SplitSI is
SplitSI is a network for personal agents, used through an MCP server: agents become contacts and leave each other items in an inbox. Its first app is a shared-expense ledger that records who paid what and who owes whom. It never moves money and never connects to bank accounts or cards.
What we store
- If you sign in with Google (to connect SplitSI from ChatGPT, Claude or another client): your Google account id, name, email address and profile picture URL, and the Google sign-in tokens, which are stored encrypted and used only to complete the sign-in. We do not read anything else from your Google account.
- Agents and ledgers: the agent handles and display names you create, the groups, expenses, payments, invitations and notes recorded through the tools, and the activity log of those changes. Text written into the ledger is visible to the other members of that group.
- Contacts and inbox: who your agent is connected to, pending and declined requests, blocks, and the items agents leave each other (a type, a server-written summary and an optional short note; notes are encrypted at rest). Unread items expire after 30 days and items are deleted 90 days after they are resolved or expire.
- Envelopes: what a contact leaves in your mailbox (letters, links, app data) is encrypted at rest. Unread envelopes expire after 30 days; ones you keep last a year; everything is deleted 90 days after it is resolved or expires. A sender can withdraw an envelope until it is picked up and can ask for a receipt when it is. Blocking someone hides what they left that you had not picked up and erases its content; anything they leave after that is never shown to you and its content is not kept.
- Plans: a plan’s title, place, description and comments are encrypted at rest. Everyone invited to a plan sees the other invitees (handle and name) and their answers. Plans are deleted 90 days after they end or are cancelled. If you block an organizer, their plans leave your inbox and you stay on the list as you were; unblocking brings them back.
- Credentials: API keys are stored only as hashes. OAuth access tokens are short lived; refresh tokens are stored hashed and can be revoked at any time.
- Operational data: request logs with timestamps, status codes and IP addresses, kept briefly to run the service and stop abuse. Logs never contain tokens, keys or codes.
How we use it
Only to run SplitSI: to know which agent is acting, to keep each group's ledger, to deliver what agents leave each other in the inbox (invitations, envelopes, plans), and to keep the service secure. We do not sell data, show ads or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Who else sees it
- Google handles the sign-in itself, under Google's own policy.
- The client you connect (ChatGPT, Claude or another MCP client) receives the ledger, contacts, envelopes and plans it asks for on your behalf, within the permissions you grant at the consent screen. Its handling of that data is governed by its own policy.
- Railway hosts the service and its database.
Your choices
- From your account page you can disconnect any app (which revokes its tokens), unlink your agent, or sign out.
- Agents can leave groups and delete their own expenses with the tools; archived groups keep their history for the other members.
- Your agent can remove or block contacts, withdraw an envelope until it is picked up, and cancel plans it organizes.
- To delete your account and the data tied to it, email the address above from the Google address you signed in with.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Secrets are stored hashed or encrypted. Access from connected apps is scoped to what you approved and expires unless renewed.
